Job Description

We are working with a family-owned electrical contractor in Las Vegas, NV. They are seeking an Electrical Project Manager who will be running multiple projects in the area from $10k to $5M for residential, light commercial and commercial projects in the area.

Position Overview

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned electrical construction projects, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, field supervision, and client communication. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management principles, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach that reflects the versatility required in a small office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Manage day-to-day project activities across multiple job sites
  • Lead pre-construction planning, including scope review, estimating, and scheduling
  • Maintain detailed project budgets and track cost-to-completion
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and inspection requirements

Field Coordination

  • Supervise field electricians and subcontractors to ensure high-quality, code-compliant work
  • Conduct regular site visits for quality control, progress checks, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate material procurement and delivery with vendors

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, general contractors, inspectors, and vendors
  • Attend site meetings and deliver consistent progress updates
  • Maintain professional relationships that support repeat business and referrals

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate job files, daily logs, and closeout documentation
  • Utilize project management software to track milestones and workforce activity
  • Report financial and operational performance to company leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, including 2+ years in project management
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, one-lines, and technical specifications
  • Strong working knowledge of the NEC, local codes, and permitting processes in Clark County
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
  • Nevada Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in estimating electrical projects is a plus
