Job Description

Primary Duties:

Plan and deliver consistent and accurate technical training on Hyundai Equipment. Work with members of the training group and other product experts to identify key objectives and create engaging content for various training formats. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Plan, schedule, coordinate and present training and demonstrations covering technical principles in the areas of electrical, hydraulics, engines, and general machine systems at our training center in GA as well as onsite training worldwide when required.

2. Develop training content for instructor-led training covering electrical, Diesel engines, hydraulic, and other common machine systems in accordance with objectives established by the training group.

3. Contribute content for the company knowledge base.

4. Provide technical support for customers and staff while delivering exceptional customer service.

5. Travel approximately occasionally to dealer/distributor/head office locations for infield training of service personnel. Some weekend travel may be required.

6. Field dealer phone calls in support of their technical needs.

7. Support dealer utilization of all dealer facing HCE-NA systems.

 

Responsibilities:

-Prepare training materials for training programs

-Strong communication skills are required for presenting material both written and spoken at times

-Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

-Gather and make available appropriate training resources (e.g., student guide, computer aids)

-Work as a team with other training personnel to accomplish training objectives.

-Travel as required for field training.

Salary range: $90k-100k

As required by the Service Manager.

 

Work environment and other requirements:

- Must be a positive team player & possess excellent customer service skills

-Solid organizational, interpersonal & communication skills required (especially written)

-Must work with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel along with other e-tools on a daily basis.

-Enforce best practices established by management to ensure a safe, clean tobacco-free working environment for company personnel & customers.

-Able to travel to provide customer-focused technical training as required

-Some driving and/or flying will be required.

-Lifting is required. 

-Need to be able to climb 2 flights of stairs (equivalent to scaling a machine) and get in and out of all machine models without assistance.
